Thanks for your reply and explanation.
I will definitively contact them and try to do my part, letting them know there are more linux users interested in their software.

Re: Sonarworks headphone & speaker calibration software.
thanks for the extra information.
It is a real pity they stopped the development, I think it would be worth it for them. For sure there are less linux devs in this field.
Still my question is, how can you activate the plugin. I tried with the free trial option, but it does not work for me.

Re: Sonarworks headphone & speaker calibration software.
Hi everyone,
I just downloaded and installed the linux beta plugin, thank you for making it available!
One question: I recently purchased the new version of Sonarworks Reference Sound ID. Do you think I can use that licence to activate the version 4 of the beta plugin for Linux?
Thanks!

Re: Mooer Ge 150
I've got their MPL and the software it does not run natively. It installs in wine but the USB connection is not visible. I've contacted them and they said it's a waste of time for them to make a native version of the software for linux. I use the software on my phone and I keep an old laptop runnin...

Re: Guitarix for professional use
Many amp-sim systems are heavy with content, so it is on the user to investigate what is available, to maximise their experience. If you combine a modern modeling amp, with an audio/effect environment like guitarix, and are relentless with your practice regimen, the sky is the limit. The line betwe...

Re: Guitarix for professional use
thanks for both your answers. @Basslint: sure it is important what I consider good sound, that comes first on deciding what to use. On the other hand it is good to hear what other people, possibly professionals, have to say about it, I might discover something I do not know. Whether in the end I go ...

Guitarix for professional use
hi all, I have been using Guitarix for a year and I find it an amazing software, the sound quality can be really good. My main interest in sound is about jazz / clean sounds, so I did not experiment much with distortion and effects. To my ears, Guitarix sounds professional. I have experience in soun...

soundcard with sof-firmware and Jack
hi, I have a Carbon Lenovo x1 with Linux Mint and the Kxstudio mirrors. The internal soundcard needs the sof-firmware to work, here are some references: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Lenovo_ThinkPad_X1_Carbon_(Gen_7)#Audio After following this guide, the soundcard works with pulseaudio but no...
