Re: Balance of Terror / Cosmic Glue
Thanks. :) The Snare Drum is a recorded sample made from a 12 inch Sonor High Class Snare Drum (appr. 600 €) layered by a self made 14 inch Snare Drum created from a cheap Magnum 14 inch Tom Tom. I made a Hydrogen Drum Kit plus a .sf2 sound file from this huge Sonor Force 3007 Drum Kit with more tha...

Re: Windows VST PlugIns for a use in GNU/Linux?
https://github.com/keybreak/linux-vst-compatibility-list Ok, thanks for the list. Though I should have been more exact. When I'm saying PlugIns I mainly speak of Synthesizers/Instruments. Sorry for not being exact enough. The vst4free is a good site for free plugins. Wow, that's a lot of instrument...

Windows VST PlugIns for a use in GNU/Linux?
Hi.
After solving my approach of using Windows VST PlugIns in my OS, I'm looking for some additional, free and good Windows VST Plugins.
Is there something like a full list?
Anyone knows some great Synthesizer PlugIns known to work?
All information appreciated...
Thanks

Re: (Solved now) How to use Carla and Windows VST Plugins?
There's some GNU/Linux Operating Systems using the path of the (how I call it) Modular use of an Operating System. I think the perhaps most popular to be is Tiny Core. Another one is Puppy Linux. But, perhaps Puppy is more popular? My ArtStudio64 is created from WoofCE , which is the so-called Puppy...

Re: (Solved now) How to use Carla and Windows VST Plugins?
Why would you need to rebuild your OS? My ArtStudio64 Operating System is stored into multiple squashfs files. It loads and runs completely into RAM. That way I can install whatever I want to test and after rebooting everything is gone. It boots straight up like a fresh install then - even if I wou...

Re: (Abandoned) How to use Carla and Windows VST Plugins?
Ok, after installing LinVST 3.21 Carla won't load the previously created .so files of the Windows VST plugins anymore. So, I removed all created .so files and transformed the .dll files again. Immediately Carla loaded a plugin again. No playing a sequence for appr. 30 minutes using Qtractor and Cris...

Re: (Abandoned) How to use Carla and Windows VST Plugins?
I had transformed the .dll files already with 1.7.6.
Do I need to remove all the created .so files and to transform the .dll files again with 3.21?

Re: Free: Biotek 1 VST from Tracktion
Meanwhile I made some testings using Biotek plugin. It's a great synthesizer, but I must say: Tracktion SUCKS! There's no difference between the use of e.g. free version of WaveForm 11 and Biotek via real purchased license. Each time after doing the smallest change on my Operating System Biotek forc...

Re: (Abandoned) How to use Carla and Windows VST Plugins?
Hi. Just to let anyone know: today I downloaded a Wine AppImage (5.xx) and after installing LinVST 1.7.6 I was immediately able to use Windows VST plugins in Qtractor via Carla. It's not very stable, as Qtractor crashes very often, though I'm able to create some samples to be used from different Win...

Spielst Du mit mir?
A song composed in February 2020. Inspired by the sister of my Girlfriend who came back to Germany after some 20 years living in the USA and shortly after that returned to the USA.
It has German lyrics about people playing games, betraying each other, lying etc.

Re: How to be Human?
Oh, I forgot the question mark. Nothing to learn about how to be human within this song, as I'm just asking. The groove is a syncopated one where the bass drum starts on 1+... ...though the 2 and 4 is straight there. A hint of "How to be Human" could/would be the image on the ...
