Re: Audio assault plugins @ linux

Sigma: https://audioassault.mx/sigma.php Amp Sim has native version, and it's free. Thanks for the heads up :D Not tried the free Amp Sim yet but also bought Duality on offer and it's great! I recently purchased a few of these including the forthcoming Grind Machine III, I put Duality on the bass t...

Re: Linux support Behringer UMC404HD?

I didn't want to make a whole thread for a little bug, so i just jumped into a closely related and general one. My mistake, I thought it was a new thread. Allright, thanks for the obvious but necessary question. I'll connect the right jacks, it should work. EDIT : It work. I tried so many things, n...

Re: Linux support Behringer UMC404HD?

Your title says 404HD, your post says 204HD. I have a 204HD, using it with Arch Linux, all works great.

How do you have the outputs from the back connected to your computer?

Edit: My bad, it's an existing thread, re the title

TAL Software Now Offering Linux Support

Just a heads up... I just got news that TAL are offering Linux versions of some of their plugins . There are a couple of nice free ones also - TAL-Reverb-4 and TAL-Chorus-LX. Check out the respective plugin pages for demos. There are helpful short video reviews there too. I've briefly tried TAL-Reve...

Re: Thoughts on what audio interface to get

I have the Behringer U-Phoria UMC204HD. I've not used it extensively for recording (yet) but my limited testing with Mixbus has been fine.

I use it as my (main) audio interface with Jack on the desktop generally as well and it's been great.

Re: Happy Birthday Ardour

What a great read, thanks for posting. Now realising what's gone in to making Ardour it makes me even more appreciative of such wonderful software and of all the talent, skill and dedication involved in all the amazing open source code it's so easy to take for granted!

Re: JJazzLab, new free software to make backing tracks in a few minutes

Just for clarification - I meant a PKGBUILD for JJazzLab, not the soundfont. I'm using the FluidR3 soundfont from the repos :)

Re: JJazzLab, new free software to make backing tracks in a few minutes

I can do it myself but time's a little tight at the moment. Saying that, it shouldn't take that long, I'll have a look. Thanks. Edit: Would be easy to drop it in /opt "as is" but then it just runs "as is" anyway, so little point at the moment. p.s. great bit of software, thanks d...

Re: My first album (3 years of of experimentations and learning)

I have tried to look for some of your music in your previous posts without success. Do you have anything that you can share somewhere ? :) Cheers Erwan I released an album online years ago but I'm currently remixing and altering it as I wasn't entirely satisfied. I'm just getting to grips with Mixb...
