I think the drums need boosting in the mix and widen/excite the mix a little. Easier said than done I know! I'm no expert and certainly not with metal. I like your guitar work as well. Good stuff.

Re: Conflict (Metal Track)
I like it. I can imagine this as the soundtrack to a classic Quake game

Re: Back to 1993
This was originally composed using a Yamaha SY22 and Mk1 Roland Soundcanvas with an Acorn Archimedes computer. Nice song :) Just for the record I'll say I'm not a keyboard player but more a sequencing tinkerer! I had an Acorn RiscPC but never tried to do any audio with it. I did, however, sequence ...

Re: Audio Assault big sale 50%-85% off.
Well I picked up a couple to play with. Hopefully it'll help development of more Linux plugins as well.

Re: Audio Assault big sale 50%-85% off.
Unfortunately there aren't many that have a Linux VST. I really want Dominator but they told me to hold off on buying it as they have no idea when the Linux version will appear (I don't run Windows plugins).
I have Duality and that's nice.

Re: QJackCtl has blinking red background
For real? I overlooked this for half a year now. And I actually tried to find a setting several times  thanks ... Same here. And I've fiddled a lot with the settings as well  Via the qjackctl GUI. I never used the Icon Menu. It's a habit of mine. Fair enough :) I have no DE and just run ...

Re: QJackCtl has blinking red background
My best settings is Sample Rate 4800 Frames/Period: 512 Periods/buffer: 3 It works without xrun, but the latency is freaking high 32ms. Which is not acceptable at all. I have a question which hardware could possibly help to lower the latency? Do you think a stronger CPU or a better audio interface?...

Re: QJackCtl has blinking red background
EDIT: I know the xruns now. Btw, may I ask what is your latency? My latency is currently 8 msec (rate: 96000; frames: 256; periods: 3). It seems ok at 4 msec but I'm allowing some wiggle room. I can't really help with your xruns as I don't use Pulseaudio. It sounds like a lot (most?) on these forum...

Re: QJackCtl has blinking red background
[_] Blink server mode Indicator Thanks, don't remember seeing that setting! The icon still turns red though and sits there staring at me. I don't get xruns when using Mixbus, just randomly in normal desktop use. Most notably when I quit my video player, Bomi. Not when playing anything, just when it...

Re: QJackCtl has blinking red background
The red blink just indicates xruns have occurred. Middle clicking the icon resets. I don't know if you know this and are asking why you get xruns? You're not clear on that.
I love QjackCtl but the red flashing drives me nuts. I wish there was an option to disable it.

@tramp Many thanks for all your hard work - much appreciated!
A question to everyone, if I may... what IR loader do you use/prefer with XTinyTerror?
