Re: The Empire of Goodness

Cool work! This would sound great as a soundtrack to a JRPG :)

Re: Jotunheim - Playing live to backing tracks.

Nice track, it feels like one of those instrumentals bands in the 70s like Uriah Heep could write! What guitar are you playing by the way? It's gorgeous but I don't recognize the model.

Really cool! Love your songs, heavy stuff is what I dig hahaha. :D very nice stuff. Keep bringing them!
Thanks! Even in orchestral tracks, I always have to add at least a tiny bit of metal

Re: Gör mig hel [prog pop]

Wow, this is great! Rhythmically it reminded me a lot of Pineapple Thief, one of my favourite bands: Bruce Soord has this way of painting intricate textures with an acoustic guitar that still manage to be pleasant and interesting, and I think you did something very similar there! The solo is also qu...

Re: Man with a Clan

 Is there no end to your talent? 8) Fantastic guitar soloing, I also loved the guitar rhythm progression. I wish I could play like you! Great track. Thanks, you're way too kind as well! And I wish I could play as it sounds like in the solos as they come out, a lot of stitching there

A clear energetic pattern of riffs, nothing superfluous, ascetic and harsh. Masterwork.
Thanks, you're always too kind! :D

I can't comment on the authenticity of the Chinese sound but I thought it was excellent, to my cloth ears! You never disappoint :D
Thanks, I'm humbled by your kind words!

Re: Alisons Lied &0s electro pop?)

Grieg's Peer Gynt I'm going off topic, but whatever... When I first listened to Peer Gynt, I heard the piece "Death of Ase" and it sounded so familiar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aKxf1h5r4g I hadn't really listened to much of Grieg before that, so I kept wondering, WHERE HAVE I HEARD THIS BEF...

Re: Alisons Lied &0s electro pop?)

It is indeed a weird one, but I liked it  Can't say I'm familiar with BBC productions, but for some reason it reminded me of some 80s anime soundtracks I watched as a kid. As a side note, is the initial tune a homage to "Solveig's Song" from Grieg's Peer Gynt, or is the similarity coinciden...

Re: "Confetes", new track, samba-jazz

This is fantastic! I'm a fan of Bossanova, and I love the way your track sounds, and the guitar in particular: using fingers was definitely the right choice, and I'm impressed by how well you played that way (I'm lost without a pick). The rhythmic sections in songs like those are indeed hard, but I ...

Re: Man with a Clan

Great song! Why did I think of Grave Digger even before having read your post? :) Sometimes it sounds a bit too perfect for the genre, the machine gun effect, though - strangely - not too much in the kick. It's a nice, full composition, I enjoyed listening to it! Best wishes, Jeanette Thanks for li...

Re: Man with a Clan

Ah! Never listened to Grave Digger but I've listened to plenty of other 80s metal in my days and this fits very nicely to that sound ideal (and I don't mean that in a bad way). Thanks for listening, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! As a quick reference to Grave Digger, this is the first track from "Tun...

Re: Man with a Clan

... and I doubt my mixing skills will ever improve enough to make them sound better than they do now  Hi @Rainmak3r You're a skilled musician, that's already a great thing. As for the mix, maybe experimenting with a little 'space' effects, like reverb, would improve. It's just a matter of ...
