similar to Yoshimi.

I*ll have a look at that, thank you. If it takes sfz format I'll give it a try

Ignore me! 😎👍🏼

No way

I’m sorry, I wasn’t clear. Yoshimi is multitimbral. It is not an SFZ player.

Re: one instance of sfizz per track?

The OP is talking about multi-timbrality similar to Yoshimi. The OP would indeed need 16 separate Sfizz instances to do this.

Edit: I see the issue is resolved already. Ignore me! 😎👍🏼

Re: How to install low-latency kernel

Why not use a modern generic kernel? Most distros use one now. With most of the real time patches incorporated into the generic kernel, it’s a simple matter of a couple of kernel boot parameters in GRUB to have most of the audio latency benefits that a custom kernel would provide—and it’s a lot easi...

Re: JSFX plugin for Reaper. MIDI XY Pad Controller.

It looks like you've done a really good job! :D Unfortunately, there isn't enough contract for me to see everything well enough to know what's going on. Please don't take this as an insult in any way--I love any new Linux plugins. I just want to let you know in a constructive way that I can't see wh...

Cool! These all load into Guitarix, right? I’ll have to test them out! 🙂 How are things coming along with the Guitarix.vst project? 🙂

😎👍🏼

Re: GxPlugins v1.0 released

This is fantastic news! Thank you! I have a small request. Could you also provide the binaries in a distro agnostic package or RPM as well for all of the non-Debian distro family linux users? We RPM users are feeling left out. A tar.gz file with a readme that tells us where to put the binarie...

Re: SFZ for Carla that supports keyswitches and mod wheel

I had originally started with LinuxSampler, but ran into a problem of too many dropouts when I started adding multiple voices playing at once. I think it is due to the buffering algorithm in how it fetches samples but I have not yet found any way to tweak that. That is why I was trying other sample...

Re: Does a Partition's "Location" On a Hard Drive Matter?

I'm not new to computers or to Linux, but I have a pretty noob question about partitions on my laptop's SSD. Following Gmaq 's advice in the manual for AVLinux, I have decided to put all my docs, pics, music, etc. on a separate partition, rather than in my /home folder. I have a triple-boot system,...

Re: linuxdaw.org - listing quality audio software for linux

I like it! Every once in a while someone makes a web page like this. Each one is different, and has their particular focus. This one will come in handy! Personally, I've been building a list (without any website, of course), that focuses on Linux music production software that supports HiDPI, since ...

Re: SFZ for Carla that supports keyswitches and mod wheel

How do I get full SFZ support with Carla? SFZero uses a core number of basic opcodes. LiquidSFZ contains more opcode support. Linux Sampler is similar to LiquidSFZ, and possibly even better. And, Sfizz supports even more. Sfizz is the closest you can currently get to the quality of opcode support o...
