Re: gpt-3 and gpt-4

Thank you for sharing, however I think a huge dump of binary files and an OSI-incompatible license seem to me like a step back for computing in general, much less software freedom. If this is the future of computing, I think I will stay in the past :D

Re: Creating a new synth plugin from a standalone app

Just a suggestion for those interested, Furnace (https://github.com/tildearrow/furnace) is a tracker which supports many consoles, including modern/fantasy ones. The easiest way to write a program to make music for the Uzebox would be to make a chip module for Furnace, IMHO.

Both can be done via plugin, in this case BSchaffl. @sjaehn am I wrong?

Well, starting something new at any age is surely a good thing, but playing bass is cool. Welcome :D

Can this be used by plugins which doesn't use any other parts of MIP2? The first CLAP plugins are coming out and this could be useful for making them available in DAWs which don't support CLAP (Ardour!).

Nice! I can certainly see the Bowie influence but I also hear some neo-psychedelia (like Echo and the Bunnymen). A nice song, would like to see a concept album!

Re: a minor meander

I like how you used the sonic space and the fact that despite having a rhythm, it's somehow relaxing. What follows is entirely influenced by my own taste and by the fact that I've browsed your SoundCloud profile. I see from your other tracks that you are acquainted with melody. So why not use it her...

Re: Going rascal (driven rock/prog track)

This is very nice prog, for which I am thankful, being a huge fan of the genre! Nice composition and choice of synth sounds. But I am going to spend more words than usual commenting on it, and not because I don't like it but because I think the track has a lot of potential, it's a very "open&qu...

Re: Bipscript 0.17 released

Applied the patch and all went fine, thanks for you fast intervention! Gonna throw something you can safely ignore out there. ABC is very nice and there are many implementations around, but what about MML ? There is only a single solid libre implementation I know of ( mugene-ng , which is written in...

Re: Bipscript 0.17 released

Thanks, I just tried to update the openSUSE package but the build failed (due to stricter compiler flags on GCC 12, I would suppose). I attached the log here.
