Re: Installing Melodyne

I would like to confirm that I have Melodyne working with LinVST using the 64 bit VST2 DLL in a few Native Linux DAW's as well as using the Windows VST3 version in the Windows 64bit version of Reaper using WINE. So far it looks to be running very well with few xruns. The rare xruns happen when openi...

Re: Non-Mixer and LV2 plugins

Saw this thread... downloaded the version from https://github.com/falkTX/non/ and installed only the mixer ...

Re: Skip the ISO and focus on documentation?

Before I answer the question I'll give a little background. I am a computer technician and have been using Linux since Red Hat 6. I've always wanted to use Linux for recording audio but it was always daunting and the software was not really available or to my liking. I tried Ubuntu Studio many times...

Re: KXRepos and Debian - Am I screwed?

I tried Debian with KXStudio repositories and ran into all kinds of headaches.

I gave up and opted for Linux Mint 18.3 w/XFCE and then added the KXrepos as follows:

sudo apt-get install kxstudio-default-settings
sudo apt-get install kxstudio-meta-all

The end result is worth it.
