Re: Qtractor Midi controller editing + automation question
Is possible to set qtractor so that when a MIDI note is moved the CC data at the same time as that note is also moved? nope. midi note-on/off and cc events are absolutely independent events. this is so by midi 1.0 spec. not a qtractor constraint whatsoever cheers Thanks for the quick response.

New USB Soundcard from Think Penguin - overpriced???
Hi, Does anyone know why Think Penguin are charging $47 for https://www.thinkpenguin.com/gnu-linux/penguin-usb-20-external-stereo-sound-adapter-gnu-linux-tpe-usbsound . These kind of devices usually go for around $5 on Amazon but I've seen them as low as $1.20 on AliExpress. I have a couple of these...

Re: Pitch detector/display plugin
Does anyone know of a plugin, preferably LV2 but VST is fine, that can display the pitch of an incoming audio signal? It doesn't have to do any pitch adjustment I just want to see the detected pitch. Thanks I'd add CALF Pitch Tools. Do you have a link? I don't see any pitch tools on the Calf Studio...

Re: Looking for a new sample editing tool
I'm kinda lost what we are trying to do here actually. Do you need a pitch plugin which handles the left and right of a stereo signal differently ? If not, just slap rubberband stereo pitch shifter (ladspa) on a stereo track. I have for example 3 tracks, one mono and two stereo. Each track contains...

I still don't understand how to set this up though, I'm not very familiar with Ardour. Could you explain your track configuration please?rghvdberg wrote:I was wrong.
It does work.
You'll have to bypass an input.
