Re: HISE

I guess it would depend on which CC license, as long as it's a free (as in GPL compatible) license it should be okay.

Re: HISE

Yes, I've built it. If you release a proprietary HISE project then you will need a JUCE license and a HISE license, if you're project is GPL then no licenses required.

VSTi export for Linux was added yesterday, I've only done a quick test but it seems to work perfectly!

A couple of things, So i've tried exporting as standalone instrument and i get "Hise path not set" error. I get that error when trying to export any of the export options f...

Re: HISE

Exporting standalone instruments on Linux has now been implemented (although I haven't tested it yet). Also if you have been following the progress of HISE then perhaps you might go here to show your support and check out some other interesting JUCE based projects - https://www.juce.com/award#leader...

Re: HISE

So exporting on Linux hasn't been implemented yet, but it's on the todo list and will hopefully not be too far away. Thanks for the update. Alas, it's been on the TODO for a very long time. I can use the full HISE plugin, but it would be much nicer to simply build a specific plugin and export it, l...

Re: HISE

I haven't tried exporting a VST yet on Linux so I'm not sure what the status of it is but I'll give it a go soon an report back.

Re: HISE

Noob question, not done my research yet. Can hise be used to create your own instruments / fx in the way of synth edit? This looks like a good place for my first post :) HISE runs on Natively on Linux (at least on my Linux Mint setup). There is a bug in the current version which I've just reported ...
