Re: Best Platforms to Share Creative Commons Music?

the inability to replace the track when I have updates. My best recommendation: host your own website with WordPress, Squarespace, etc. Ampache is an old media-focused CMS that could serve that purpose. That's what I do. My music site is hosted by Wordpress.com, so I don't even have to maintain the...

Re: jam300

This is a nice sketch. Good choice of sounds, and a good balance between them. The track has a hypnotic effect, inducing a nice mood. The guitar part in particular feels like it needs to be fleshed out a bit more.

Re: 2019 Milestone recording

I think this song could make a nice rhapsody if you developed the middle section more. My favorite part is right after the metal guitar thrash, from about 1:35-1:45, where the synth comes in on top of the guitar. It sounds like a prog rock jam, and I really like that texture you create. It left me a...

Re: [LAA] Noise repellent 0.1.5 is out!

Yeah! Nice to see some updates to this great tool! Is there a changelog somewhere? I don't see one on the git page. What are the biggest changes with this version?

Thank you for your work on this!

Re: Artificial Intelligence - DnB

Been listening to this all afternoon. Wanted to digest it a bit so that I would have something to say. I must admit that it took me a few times through to warm up to this one, but now I'm not sure why because I think it's a good track. As always, your sound engineering is really good -- lots of ear ...

Re: Kurtosis - Electro House Again [Electro House]

A very danceable rhythm, makes you want to nod your head from side to side while listening. Full of interesting electro sounds. I like the voice with the portamento slide up and down. Nicely done!

A nice compilation of your orchestral synth tracks. I also like the cover photo.

Thanks for posting!

Welcome to the forum! Tell us a bit about yourself. Are you a coder? A musician? How long have you been using Linux and what tools are working for you? And most important, where can we hear your recordings?

Again, welcome.

Re: Spitzbergen: Doomsday Repository

Solid track! The changes in the drum pattern keeps the song moving. The two leads guitars weave through one another, sometimes feel like they are tripping over each other, sometimes harmonizing nicely and other times hitting a dissonant chord.

I hope we never have to use that doomsday repository!

Re: Marena's approach

A nice, gentle sound. I might imagine the goddess of winter, cold, and death to be somewhat less gentle than that. But if winter, cold, and death are coming, then I guess we can only hope that they will come gently!

Basslint, Merry Christmas to you! Yes, it is nice to belong to a community of believers. I have always thought that ethos of Free Software is a good match for the spirit of cooperation and generosity in Christianity. Everything that we have really belongs to God, so we should share what we have free...
