Re: Sonarworks Headphone Calibration Plugin

FWIW, I didn't manage to make the online registration work, but I'm on a real crappy 3G at the moment. With the offline installation it worked, once I got a new key that wasn't taken by someone else, even though I claimed it in this thread, and then waited 10 hours or so  The DSP and selecting...

Re: Very large value suggested by jack_iodelay

Oh, that's nice and low. What kind of card is that if I may ask?

You could use 19/20 for a perfect result :)

You could also playback and record a square wave or a single sample spike and zoom-in in your daw for extra verification.

Re: Sonarworks Headphone Calibration Plugin

ok, the layout and everything seems fine. Can you check if "Sonarworks Projects" actually contains the headphone profiles? If yes, then can you mail me the swlic file? Btw, just a stupid idea, but can you check if the output from /etc/machine-id is consistent (a couple of cats)? As I said...

Re: Sonarworks Headphone Calibration Plugin

I tried to do the online registration but failed a couple of times, it would download for a while and then nothing more would happen. Maybe it would make sense to implement a progression bar, and possibly to abort after a certain timeout has been exceeded. The reason the download failed might very w...

Re: Sonarworks Headphone Calibration Plugin

I use Archlinux with KDE and Reaper.

If no one objects I'll claim key #2 in about 8 hours.

So far I've installed it, inserted it on the master bus, and seen the plugin and activation windows appear.

I do have /etc/machine-id.

Re: Analog Mixers with USB multi-i/o support in Linux?

I can't remember if it worked out of the box, but yes it's class 2.0 compliant.

Looking at the manual https://media.music-group.com/media/PLM ... 2_M_EN.pdf chapter 6 it says to go to the setup screen - Card tab to configure it.

Re: Analog Mixers with USB multi-i/o support in Linux?

We have our x32 setup for recording 32 tracks which works well. I'm not sure about the firmware, but last updated a year or two ago. I also don't remember if there was some setup included, but there is a menu to configure I/O on the mixer.

What I meant is that I've heard about this happening with different cards. Never experienced it myself.
