Re: Dual Boot Windows install AFTER Linux??

If you had installed Linux using UEFI, it would probably be doable. One of the nice things of it is that different OS don't overwrite each others' boot sectors anymore. That said, I have no idea on how this could be achieved. Like so many others who still need that other system from time to time, I ...

I don't care about the decisive turning point.
These should be lyrics in a song. I might be willing to contribute a piano or clarinet track.

Hi asio4allmusic, welcome on the LinuxMusicians forum. You've found the right place, and also asked the right questions, which I'll briefly try to answer here. ...i'm about to install the new version of ubuntu 18.04 lts A good choice for a beginner with Linux IMHO. can´ t watch with the video with Firefox ESR or Chromium (Debian). On my Debian stable, I see it with both. Try to click on the video, and if you have plugins, try without them. My only plugin (in Firefox ESR) is ublock origin, and that's *active*... Oh, and thanks Phil for the video! HTH, Wolfgang

Re: Pure Imagination (Clarinet and Piano)

...when I bought the Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, I thought "I won't need more than two audio inputs! What on earth would I do with a bigger interface?" Now I find myself wanting to bring in more musicians and individually mic everybody... maybe I can save up for that Scarlett 18i20, and more mics, and ...

Re: Pure Imagination (Clarinet and Piano)

Beautiful, Michael! I bet the fact that your brother and you had eye contact (or that you could watch him play) helped a bit with keeping the timing. The audio quality is very good, in fact even that virtual piano seems to have a little 'room' (either the samples themselves, or you/he mixed it in?)....

Re: Collaborations

Hi Al, no problem - you don't have to like the same stuff which I like, and you also don't have to agree with Wikiloops and their policies. However, I see lots of people who really like it - there are quotes at the bottom of each page, which are rotated randomly, and which just cite what people like...
