Re: I can't download DrumGizmo kits

It appears that the kits hosted at muldjord.com are currently not responding. I'll look into it right away. Thanks for reporting :-)

Re: Bug? Flashing progress bar in the Ardour's in-line display

Yes, that at definitely a bug.
I have registered it in our road-map and will make sure to get it fixed for the next release.
Thanks for reporting :-)

Re: DRS kit

It is sampling of two different playing styles. One where the kick-drum beater rests on the drum-head after the stroke and thereby dampens it and one where it doesn't, letting the drum head "ring" more. I think most drummers use the "no contact" variant, but I imagine that some jazz musicians would ...

Re: Dgedit export issue

The exported files are 16 channel wavs so not all audio players are able to play them.

Did you then perhaps forget to add the attribute to the kick instrument?
In some kits there are more than one kick instrument. Muldjord for example has left and right, and DRS has two variants IIRC.

Re: [Suggestion] Individual Close-Mic-/Room-Mic-Channels

hey guys, before I screw things up on my end, maybe I should ask you guys first.. I love the bleed control but how can I remove it on the room(amb) tracks? I find when I have the bleed control lower than 50%, I lose the bottom end of the AMB tracks. I need it that low for the other track as the sna...

Re: DrumGizmo - Ardour/Mixbus scripts and patchfiles

It sounds like a good idea. I didn't check the scripts and midnam files myself but I think we should make them available on drumgizmo.org on the drumkit pages. @deva: What do you think? That sounds like a good idea but unfortunately I'm knee deep in working on the editor at the moment, but I could p...

Re: DrumGizmo - Ardour/Mixbus scripts and patchfiles

Does the midnam work for all drumkits, ie. read the names from the xml? And does the channel creation likewise use the drumkit xml for the names? Aah, I could of course just have looked in the source code to find that out :-) Each drumkit has a separate script for channel creation and a separate mi...

Re: DrumGizmo - Ardour/Mixbus scripts and patchfiles

Cool.

Could you explain in a bit more detail what it does? Tehcnically I mean.

Does the midnam work for all drumkits, ie. read the names from the xml?
And does the channel creation likewise use the drumkit xml for the names?

funkmuscle wrote:Only one request, do you think on upcoming releases, the bleeding control can be set per instrument?
We already have it on the roadmap but imagining how the UI for such a feature would work is a bit of a hazzle so we thought we'd do the whole-kit bleed first.

Re: CrocellKit Centre OVH creates a delay

Exactly.
I just tried recording the 16 channel output from DG 0.9.16 with Crocell Kit in the new patched version and all channels seemed to align perfectly under each other.

Could you perhaps take a screenshot showing how the channels are delayed beside each other?
