Re: OSX State-of-Play?
Cool! :-) You can check out the cocoa_ui branch and follow the instructions on https://drumgizmo.org/wiki/doku.php?id=dev:macosx_building_howto Inside the plugingui folder there should be an application called plugingui which you should be able to run to see the UI without the engine. We made that t...

Re: OSX State-of-Play?
OSX support is drawing nearer:
http://aasimon.org/public/drumgizmo/rea ... -first.mkv (note: audio works, but was not recorded by the screen-scraper)
I even managed to get the plugin UI embedding to work now:

Re: OSX State-of-Play?
I have recently made some progress in the OSX/Cocoa UI area: http://aasimon.org/public/drumgizmo/osx-teaser.mkv It still needs a lot of work (improving on the performance for one thing) but most of the old road-blocks has been bypassed. Interested readers can check out the cocoa_ui branch to try it ...

Re: Help with drumgizmo UI
The humanisation controls are split into two groups: - Velocity humanisation, which modifies the velocities of the input notes. - Timing humanisation, which moves the note position in time. On top of that the StdDev knob is used for the sample randomisation, which, the greater the values of the knob...

Re: Extending drumkits
It is possible to integrate one instrument from one drumkit into another. It is done my modifying the drumkit xml. Let's assume we want to incorporate the splash cymbal from the CrocellKit into the DRSKit. First copy the splash instrument folder from the CrocellKit folder to the DRSKit folder. (Note...

Re: DrumGizmo 0.9.16 Released!
Does this also happen if you set the value <2GB? This did the trick, I've set it to 1.9 GB, after saving and reopening the session it says 1.664 MB, so I leave it as it is. Thanks, deva! :) Capital! :-D It is a known bug in 0.9.16 which has already been fixed in git. The fix will be part of the nex...

Re: Using Round Robin Samples in Drum Gizmo
Sorry to interrupt this exciting forum-thread. I recently refactored the XML parser code of drumgizmo and actually decided to remove the support for the old instrument version with the velocity groups because all of our kits no longer uses it and it was a pain to maintain both of them. However, due ...

The kits should be available again - now hosted on the main drumgizmo server (ie. the links have all changed).

Re: Saving memory by disabling bleed
The bleed control slider will still play back the samples of the bleed channels, even if set to 0, so this cannot be used to reduce the CPU usage. Stripping the bleed channels from the drumkit entirely as you did would reduce the CPU usage. You cannot see a reduction in the memory used when the kit ...
