Re: Normalized Samples
Setting volume modifier based on velocity could relatively easily be introduced as a feature.

Re: DrumGizmo 0.9.17 Released!
The one feature that I didn't have luck with was dgvalidator - only tried it briefly, but didn't report any issues on the kit (when it was definitely broken) I noticed that all the output from dgvalidator is accidentally choked before it reaches the terminal if drumgizmo is compiled without debug m...

Re: DrumGizmo 0.9.17 Released!
Clicky-Kit and Directed Choke are new functionalities that has been added to the engine which can optionally be used by the drumkit xml files. If the xml-tags and attributes specified in the changelog are not present the features are simply not used. The code shown are examples of how this could loo...

Re: OSX State-of-Play?
Did you manage to get the lv2 to work? I got it to build and load in the DAW, but the UI doesn't work. I was thinking of maybe configuring an Ardour session on my Linux machine, and then trying to load it on the Mac to see if it would at least make some noise, but I haven't tried it yet. You could ...

Re: OSX State-of-Play?
I finally tried building this on MacOS. Is there a way to build a MacOS native LV2? I tried fiddling with the parameters to ./configure, and it built an LV2 version, but it looks like it is Linux native, having .so instead of .dylib ... I didn't work up the gumption to find the VST2 SDK, but I do h...

Re: OSX State-of-Play?
I'm not sure the UI works yet. The code to make it work should be in place, but I haven't tested it yet.
I think you can simply rename the .so file to .dylib as with the vst and perhaps it just-works(tm) ?

Re: OSX State-of-Play?
I just merged the Cocoa backend to the develop branch. It has been tested on Yosemite and Mojave (the latest version of OSX) with Reaper. To test it, follow the instructions on our osx development page: https://drumgizmo.org/wiki/doku.php?id=dev:macosx_building_howto Since it is still highly experim...

Just for future reference; which jack settings did you end up with?

Re: No jackaudio output on Raspberry Pi
Could you post the full commandline as you are currently running it? It may be a problem due to low latency (small jack buffer) and resampling being active (ie. too much load on the CPU). If you can try running it with increased buffersize (2048 samples for example) and run jack in the same samplera...

Re: Drumgizmo VST and Tracktion Waveform.
Ahh, that makes a lot more sense
Does the UI work in other hosts? Ardour or Reaper for example?
And does the UI show up on other native linux plugins?

Re: Drumgizmo VST and Tracktion Waveform.
I have added your issue to our roadmap.
We'll let you know when we start working on it - hopefully it should be relatively soon(tm)
To help with the process can you tell us a bit about what "subj link" is? I have not been able to find anything about it.
