Re: Tascam US-122Mkii Not supported-True?

I had a US-122 MKII too. The audio output was working without problems, although I had some strange noise every ten minutes or so, which were persistent until I unplugged the interface and plugged it in again. But this problem did also exist on MS Windows. I got the audio input working once, but can...

Re: Progwolff Performer on Ubuntu

Sorry that you had to spoonfeed everything. No reason to apologize. Thanks for testing! I'm happy with every issue that is reported, so I can make better software. I wouldn't have thought that it's such a problem to build Qt5 applications on KXStudio. One initial snag: I didn't initially have a Doc...

Re: Progwolff Performer on Ubuntu

I installed KXStudio in a virtual machine.

This is how I managed to build performer with a document viewer enabled on a fresh KXStudio install: https://github.com/progwolff/performer/ ... buntu-1404

Re: Progwolff Performer on Ubuntu

Wow, I didn't know Ubuntu is so far behind...

Please fetch the latest commit. It should build now with Qt 5.5.
There won't be a document viewer though, as QWebEngine is not available for Ubuntu and you probably don't want to install Okular.

Thanks for your effort!

Glad you like it :)
Please let me know how it's working for you.

If you tested it yesterday and had problems with song switching, please fetch the latest commit. There was a bug I fixed in the evening.

Re: Audio hats

An audio HAT with high quality input would have to send this audio data to the Pi via the GPIOs. So even if a HAT had built-in high quality ADCs, it would have to stream the digital audio data to the Pi via the GPIOs. Without having looked at the schematics, I guess the GPIOs just aren't made for st...

Re: Carla and midi

"Exclude range" should make a difference...it does for me...

To let MIDI CCs pass through, "Edit" the x42 plugin, check "Send Control Changes".

Well, like falktx said, the x42-midi plugins are perfect for this purpose.

Re: nvidia and wine not working too well

If your issues have to do with 3d acceleration, you might want to try the Direct3D-related registry keys: https://wiki.winehq.org/Useful_Registry_Keys Especially VideoMemorySize, VideoPciDeviceID and VideoPciVendorID should be set. You might also try different values for DirectDrawRenderer and UseGL...

Isn't Carla itself licensed under GPL2?

Re: Announcing Konfyt digital keyboard workstation

Great, I'll try this out within the next few days.

I wrote a similar application: https://github.com/progwolff/performer
Maybe it's worth merging those projects.

Re: using Carla live with midi controller + midi feedback ?

Given the monosynth does not generate MIDI events itself, you could just connect Carla's MIDI input with Carla's MIDI output and connect Carla's MIDI output with your controller. This way every MIDI event that is sent to Carla would be sent back to your controller. If I understand you right, you add...

Re: What do we have? What do we need?

I often waste hours searching for good plugins that suffice to realize my ideas. And from what I read in this thread, there are others that have similar problems. What I really miss is a central database or repository of plugins. From what I know, there is no such a system that allows me to search f...
