I can understand, though, that you may be impressed by injection products if you are weak, your family is weak, you visit regularly the doctor, ha...

Re: Ready to dive in with both feet. ;)
[Kinda Related.. is there any sort of support similar to Aggregate devices like in OS X? Every now and then I need more than 16 channels and I'll throw another interface in the mix (usually a Behringer 404HD or 8 channel) and aggregate them and *bam* everything is fine. If not available I can work ...

Re: Windows Audio vs. Linux Audio
Root is for system administration, software installation and changes outside of the home folder... NOT for running applications. You're using Linux wrong, how well do you expect it to work!? So, I thought GNU/Linux stands for Freedom? Running as user bends me and has nothing to do with freedom. To ...

:Welcome: In principle you only need to install jackd2 and that only because it automatically enters the 2 entries in the limits.conf regarding RT audio during the installation. https://linuxconfig.org/images/03-how-to-install-ubuntu-studio-desktop-environment-on-ubuntu-20-04.png Optionally a Low La...

I had never registered or logged in to the wiki over the whole ~15 years ergo never created or edited any content. When I ~2017, after ~7 years break from LM for private reasons, came back here I had thought or understood you could no longer log on to the wiki, so no longer create / edit anything. M...

Since I was just asked who edits / keeps the WIKI up to date here and I don't know either, I'll also ask the question: Who should I contact if I want to edit the wiki or how can I edit them? Can you log in there https://wiki.linuxaudio.org/wiki/start?do=login§ok= ? Edit: Ah it is possible, I...

Re: Just a quick note...
Great! One computer is less complicated and more environmentally friendly than several connected via e.g. netjack. Have you installed the KXStudio repositories? Then take instead of seq24 the seq ^ 64 , is more current software and from the number 40 more which is always better. ;-) Bsequencer with ...
