Re: AMP for electric uke. Any suggestions?

I have the THR10 and can recommend it also.
As an alternative you can also buy such a speaker

https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/iloud

which is more versatile.

Re: USB Midi Keyboard - changes identifier

Found another thing: There are some timeouts (likely when initializing the keyboard) in the journal. Mai 24 21:08:11 fox kernel: hid-generic 0003:09E8:0026.0004: timeout initializing reports I also observed that my mouse takes some seconds until I can use it. I make a test without the keyboard if th...

Re: USB Midi Keyboard - changes identifier

Don't know if this is related, but with the new MPK mini I see such entries in the journal: journalctl -b -0 | grep AKAI Mai 29 22:09:07 fox kernel: usb 5-1.4.5.2: Manufacturer: AKAI Mai 29 22:09:17 fox kernel: hid-generic 0003:09E8:0026.0005: hiddev0,hidraw4: USB HID v1.11 Device [AKAI MPK Mini Mk ...

USB Midi Keyboard - changes identifier

Hi, I recently replaced an Akai LP 25 with an Akai MPK mini midi keyboard. While the LPK 25 was always listed as "Akai LPK 25" in Renoise, the MPK sometimes emerges as "MPK mini MK II Midi 1" and sometimes as "USB device 09e8:0026 midi". When I unplug and replug it it c...

Re: u-he Hive 2.0 for Linux is available

no, no, no, no. I promised myself, not any more synth until i finish next ep. (alreay have zebra2, diva and repro ;)) If you have zebra 2 you probably don't need Hive. I still have to figure out how to programme customized Wavetables. This is even not possible in Zebra. And Hive is much more straig...

Bought... the design alone is worth the money. It looks much more serious.

Re: Song for Evelyn

That's a nice tune indeed which reminds me a bit on a children song or on winter season around christmas.

There's something ringing when I listen to the chords at 0:59...Guns N' Roses? (Patience?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErvgV4P6Fzc) or maybe something else.

You have my deepest sympathies

Re: Jayne Mansfield (Electro, 90 bpm, Renoise)

Thanks milo. I listened to the Automat album and I like it. You mean Musique Non Stop by KRAFTWERK?
Luckily that track took me only ~2 weekends. I put the arrangement together very quickly in Renoise and the next day it turned out that it is finished like it is.

Re: Jayne Mansfield (Electro, 90 bpm, Renoise)

Thank you! Jayne Mansfield is quite famous. The track got the name when it was almost finished and when I was looking for samples. The sample refering to wrong place and wrong time refers to her car accident. You can read about her story and her connection to Anton Lavey at wiki. I like such undergr...
