Re: [ANN] Vee One Suite 0.9.14 - A Mid-Spring'20 Release

Using samplv1 currently in Ardour 6 and getting some crashed from time to time.

Here's a backtrace where two instances of samplv1 are loaded when rewinding in Ardour (number 1 on the num block) samplv1 crahses:

Re: alsa jack bridge does not work

Something seems to block Alsa, I guess. Do you have all programs closed (e.g. browser, etc.)?

Re: SevenDelay

To lilith, I was forgetting that Debian and Ubuntu have different libxcb-util package. (Previous issue: https://github.com/ryukau/VSTPlugins/issues/3) I built VST 3 plugins on Debian 10.4.0. If they don't work, only option is to building from source. Download link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=...

Re: Guide to Italian progressive rock

Don't know if that fits, but this album influenced the Norwegian Black Metal scene back in the 90s:

I consider it as progressive.

Is pulse audio running?

Try "pulseaudio --kill".

Re: Pity Party

I was listening to it on sunday and I liked it. Reminded me a bit on THE RESIDENTS and THE TIGER LILLIES sometimes.

Some frequencies at 1-2 kHz (estimated) sounded a bit uncomfortable, especially in the first track. I would lower these a bit

Reaper crashes with ALSA and with Jack in Server Synchronous Mode

Hi, I'm using a (pretty new) Roland Rubix 24 interface without issues with Jack in Debian 10 (with XFCE). However when I set Jack to "Server Synchronous Mode" or when using plain Alsa with default parameters Reaper is crashing occasional. When running Reaper from the terminal I get a simple and myst...

Re: "Server synchronous mode" Option in Jack - What is it doing?

Sorry if i missed it, which kernel are your initial results from? What are your pc specs? Regarding the system clock setting question... that seems "normal" to me because that's what happens here too. If i try to select a clock source, it doesn't *seem* to persist, the UI just forgets. :| I also ha...

Re: "Server synchronous mode" Option in Jack - What is it doing?

Hey Lilith, I'm a recent buster convert. Have you ever tried the liquorix kernel? It may be worth the effort to try it out sometime. I found that it works very well. Cheers Hi lad, not yet. Do you think it's a kernel issue? I tried the AVlinux kernel last time. I could test if it helps. Also I thin...

Re: SevenDelay

Hi, lilith. Which Linux distribution are you using? VST 3 version is built on Ubuntu 18.04, so it probably doesn't work on other distributions. If you are on Ubuntu 18.04, try installing following packages: sudo apt install libxcb-cursor0 libxkbcommon-x11-0 I can send local VST 3 builds if you are ...
