Re: Ableton Live in Linux?

I think it runs via Wine, but personally I would use Bitwig.

Re: Videos from the tracks

This (video and music) is great and also my favourite!

I especially like the part at 3:58 when the water turns black

All right. Then if you wish to start something, just do it and let me know, perhaps in the Virtual Music Projects section.

Re: La Nouvelle Avantgarde (New Wave)

I meant that one: https://soundcloud.com/typeamusic/amigos-mutantes-type-a I will finish this and then I can start with something. I also want to make another collab with Type-A. But as I'm in vacation I should have "plenty" of time. At least in theory. 8) BTW I'm using Bitwig 3.2.6 without any sign...

Re: La Nouvelle Avantgarde (New Wave)

This one has a wholesomeness in the mix. Everything seems to be well balanced, the bass is all right, reverb just in the right amounts, panning is nice. It almost sounds like a full-fledged track (eg. not a demo), if it wasn't for the lead synth that seems to be just a tad out of the ensemble. By n...

Re: Why two rtirq entries?

I still don't get it. It seems imo that only one of the two entries belongs to my audio interface. So there's another process running with RT priority which would be bad. On the other hand I 've seen similar outputs from other people.

Re: Zynspiration

I like this also, especially the beginning with the organ sound, which reminds me on Anna von Hausswolff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbP--RsNj70 Mixwise I think there iis some room for improvement. Generally it sounds a bit muddy and dense on my setup. Cutting low frequencies for all instrument...

Re: Why two rtirq entries?

I have the RT kernel booted with the CONFIG_IRQ_FORCED_THREADING=y boot option (I was too lazy to delete it). I don't have any obvious problems with this. Here's the output of lsusb marco@marco:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/rtirq status [sudo] password for marco: PID CLS RTPRIO NI PRI %CPU STAT COMMAND 161 FF...

Re: Sonarworks headphone & speaker calibration software.

Is @rudolfs.bundulis still around? I think about buying the Linux version and wonder if this will be in permanent development. I also wonder if the studio version is ported to Linux.

Re: Sonarworks headphone & speaker calibration software.

I wonder why not more people are writing in this thread. I just tested the Sonarworks Headphone plugin and it's quite impressive!! I wasn't aware that there is already a fully functioning Linux version. When calibrating my cheap Superlux HD668B it's a huge difference and I stop hearing things that I...

Re: La Nouvelle Avantgarde (New Wave)

Thanks milo and Gmaq.

Currently I'm remixing this song by Type-A.

Re: La Nouvelle Avantgarde (New Wave)

I just deleted a synth line and now it's fine.
Thanks Rainmak3r for pointing me into the right direction!
