Re: U-he Diva, and Repro 50% off courtesy of Native Instruments sale lasts 13 more days

Finally I couldn't resist. As I only had HIVE I thought it makes sense to have some more instruments. Now I'm waiting for a good ZEBRA offer.

Re: U-he Diva, and Repro 50% off courtesy of Native Instruments sale lasts 13 more days

@Jonetsu: Any news with your Repro CPU problems? I thought about buying it, but I wonder if I should get Zebra instead of Repro 5 or Diva or even the whole package

I only have an i5, so I might run into problem quicky with Repro. Sound is great though ...

Re: Upcoming Bitwig Studio 3 : The Grid

What I really find great about renoise is that tracks and instruments are independent. Also great is the spectrum and phase view at the top. Something I really miss in other DAWs. I have good memories of Renoise. For me, it's the emacs of audio creation. And that says a lot ! :D Do you have some tra...

Re: Upcoming Bitwig Studio 3 : The Grid

I can work with the piano roll or the tracker. That's not the main problem. Also the price is justified I would say. I played with Bitwig several days, but it didn't flash me like renoise or reaper did (especially using renoise is a lot of fun). Maybe this will happen when I'm more used to the progr...

Re: Upcoming Bitwig Studio 3 : The Grid

That looks very impressive. Still not sure it justifies the inevitable price for me though. I struggled some days if I should buy it or not and finally decided to stay with Renoise. Especially, because a new update is planned now and because of the non piano roll approach, which forces me to do thi...

Re: MOD Devices sponsors Linuxmusicians.com

Btw falkTX is on the KXSStudio Discord channel and I have heard from other sources that he is planning to start an own forum, but as he's also moving to an other country this might take some time.

Anyway.. KXStudio can be used without problems.

Re: Duck & Cover

The kick is based on a Linn-Drum sample, which is heavily boosted. In green is the frequency distribution of the kick (+ the waveform) with the maximum at around 60-80Hz. I agree with the samples. At the beginning it's fun, but one can also overdo it.

Re: Duck & Cover

Thanks, I think I'll let it sit for some days and think about changes. I also have only 5 inch speakers + several headphones. Compared to version 1 I think it improved: https://soundcloud.com/lilith_93/track-export/s-prJlC https://soundcloud.com/lilith_93/export-191114/s-rGm9r The bass could be 1-2 ...
