Played some with the tempo to get some more activity.

Now mix is much better. For my taste, hi-hat is too high volume, bit down.

Edit: and yeah, I got ear worm, my head plays it. It is catchy!

Re: What music did your parents play in the car at home etc?

How about your parents, and did you like it ? I've born at the end of 60s. My parents did not have anything else than radio, and in car, there was no even that. On radio there was two channels, one playing news, classical and religious hymns. Other played old Finnish tango, walz and such, like this...

Re: LMMS wav to midi to MuseScore?

I have exported the drum track from my LMMS project, but for some reason LMMS didn't seem capable of exporting it as a .mid file. So now, I am sitting here with a .wav file and wondering how I can convert it to .mid so I can import it into MuseScore, to work on the scoring of the drums. Any ideas? ...

Re: Showing scale in Ardour piano roll?

Other than that you could make a feature request to Ardour at: http://tracker.ardour.org/ On registering account there, ended up to making bug about bug tracker emails, they get marked as spam. (Service provider email server is blacklisted) But yeah, req created: http://tracker.ardour.org/view.php?...

Showing scale in Ardour piano roll?

Does Ardour (using 4.7.0) have possibility to show current scale in piano roll? I do not remember other scales than c major and a minor without thinking, and therefore, I would like to have possibility to mark which notes are in scale.

Re: Any recent DAW comparisons?

Finally, I've had some time to this topic. Some impressions about Reaper, Ardour and Caustic! And indeed, seems that my comparison will be as partial, outdated and poor as all the others also. Comparing means learning all of them, and once you find the one that works for you, your search is done. ht...

Re: Minor Particle

All it would need is work in getting the sounds right, shaping the whole thing, balancing, adding some instruments perhaps, like a bass sound could make an appearance in the middle or so. Sound are right & in balance, I could not imagine me getting much more fuller experience with live recordin...

Good work! Not my genre, I personally need bit more melodic vocals, but rest, great work!

Is it Polish you sing? I could pass this to my Polish work mates...

Re: ZynJam !

Great track, nice sounds, and melodies / riffs works! 1) I did not like part 2:02, for me it sounds too much like angry small dog. And for mainstream popular music, that part is too much different from rest? But sure, for not-so-mainstream, different structure is ok. 2) Maybe intro-part (first 50s) ...

Re: Four Chords at the sunset

I really liked it. I could listen to it multiple times, which is more than what I can do with 99% of music out there. Oh, that is really a big statement! Thanks! My advice is to not take criticism too seriously. You can only go by your own instincts. Be original, there is a reason why your music so...

Re: Four Chords at the sunset

However, my son prefered this without. Our musical taste is different, he is more EDM, and I'm 'melodic / symphonic metal' man. It is possible that I create something with distorted guitar as instrument, but let's see. I thought you said it was a partnership project. So there could be a compromise....
