Right now, now idea at all what that would be. Just go ahead what ever you have in mind. Don't count on my output.

Re: Mr. E's

Your work sounds great! I would like to play bass & guitar for it, but not sure if can make something good enough. Do you have some idea what kind of guitar sound you would like, what kind of role for guitar? Or do you have some track in your mind which has related soundscape you would like to c...

Re: I'm here. And you?

Hi everybody! I am semi-novice musician, trying to learn everything. Busy with family schedules, so I don't have too much time. * I play mostly guitar, mainly open tunings like Open D minor/major, and 'powechord monster', guitar with AEAEAE tuning. With open tunings I play also with slide, and I hav...

Re: Rock Instrumental

Really amazing great track! Bit brighter mix might be nice, but not sure. This is really so great track that I'd like to include this to my training music collection which I use on my own outdoor exercise sessions. We are training with kettlebells around the year, regardless of the weather. Coldest ...

Re: Experimental Attempt At 70s Blues Rock

For my ear, there is too many sounds on same frequency range, so that they step on each others toes. Starting track bit more gradually might also help listener to find all the tracks going on?

Re: Aivazovsky Gallery

Nice track, and fine video. I would be happy if could do such myself! For my taste, bass sound was bit too high, and maybe it would be better if it would have bit softer sound, or should it be octave down? That great guitaring would be better if it would be bit brighter. Anyway, great work! Keep on ...

Re: Synth, noise and techno

T2 Music based on a soundtrack I made for a podcast. It's made to sound retro, to have a dark, mystical old synth atmosphere. I think they're best experienced as a whole: T2 -> ØS -> UL. But they are 3 songs, so do as you like. It's made entirely in Qtractor, mostly with Noizemaker and Yoshimi + a ...

Re: Subgroup: Virtual Music Projects

But i think that were we don't have time to do a full project on our own, we can do more if we get help by others doing all some parts. I think that in the end we can come further then we do now. And it doesn't have to become a album-factory. Projects can take time which is needed. Sounds nice, you...

Re: MT-PowerDrumKit Alternative ?

Now I wrote a simple application that reads the grooves from the DLL and lets you browse, preview and sequence them. Then the sequence can be saved to a file or directly be dragged and dropped to Qtractor or Ardour. ... Dependencies: * ruby * Active Support (gem install activesupport) * qtbindings ...

Re: Any recent DAW comparisons?

Haven't done too much serious testing, but little bit real use. It starts to look like that ardour might be my solution for recorded audio, but composing synths is much more comfortable in lmms.

Re: House Of The Rising Sun cover (yeah, that one)

Well, since I've deleted Windows from my machine, I didn't learn any proper DAW. I edit MIDI in Rosegarden which goes into LinuxSampler which goes into single Calf reverb and that's it. Here, I've tried to add more effects but since I have to open a separate application for each one except Calf, th...
