Re: Can't take ownership of exFAT HDD's

As I've said I'm not using Windows partitions, but, pmount is used with a USB key that has a windows partition as such: % df -Th /dev/sde1 vfat 3.0G 173M 2.9G 6% /media/mevla/E223-9F8C I did not use the term "Windows", but I don't actually think there is any technical difference between t...

Re: Can't take ownership of exFAT HDD's

while it has already been stated, from the phrasing of words in recent posts it seems it might need stating again that; exfat formatted drives do not have a concept of ownership/permissions for files within that filesystem. it will be the mount point that has ownership. figuring out the method of mo...

Re: muse-git for arch

I can build MusE when pulled from git without the PKGBUILD but using AUR the muse in the AUR is a static version, not git backed. Even did what Milk suggested and it won't build anymore. there are four sed statements in the PKGBUILD. commenting out one is probably not going to help the entire build...

Re: muse-git for arch

hmm. the PKGBUILDs are the same. strange if it's failing for you.

what specific sed line is stopping the process? comment all of them but one out and try running.

Re: Ubuntustudio 19.04 Jack Gui with new functionality

"What we've done in Ubuntu Studio Controls is, for the first time for any GUI frontend to Jack, allow you to add multiple external audio devices at once, and even detect USB devices as they're plugged-in or unplugged while Jack is running," Eickmeyer says. For any Arch users who wish to tr...

Re: MPC like sequencer

I guess ahlstromcj has other life things on at the moment. There have been recent but small commits. Shifting the toolkit to qt5 has been their most recent focus, that's fairly far on now. For live and automation; syncing pattern state to hardware lights or other rack/patchbay control systems isn't ...
