Re: What does mean "set the reverb of the drums on the track tempo"?

anyone know of any reverbs that let one either 'tap' the reverb length in or even that sync with host tempo?

Re: Ardour - support only for official builds?

like, i want to see just "new, feedback, acked, confirmed, assigned" from just "5.X git, 6.0-pre0", in reverse order of date submitted, but there seems no way to save/bookmark this view for myself, let along copy it to pass to someone else. it seems no wonder the devs can't keep ...

Re: Ardour - support only for official builds?

at least it's not on bugzilla! possibly the state of the bugtracker might be confusing/scaring off new devs (and confusing users into reporting incorrectly). delegation is good to speed up things and avoid burnout. what could be delegated to randoms who wish to help? verifying/acknowledging bugs aga...

here is my proposal. i'm more of a crappy sysadmin than developer, so i'm afraid i can't implement it, so no expectations from me, just pointing out what i think is the gap in the thinking so far and vague hopes.

Re: MOD Devices sponsors Linuxmusicians.com

i think there is a fair difference between a meat space conference and an online forum. indeed, sometimes requests and compromises need to be made, but i don't think, in this case, that the request was made apparent enough. many sites use an up-front graphical notification of server cost contributio...

Re: KXStudio 18.04 Testing

someone might want to report the issue via https://github.com/KXStudio/Website (found after a quick google (kxstudio github website))

falktx has recently stated on IRC that they are currently actively avoiding logging in to the LinuxMusicians forum.

Re: How to toggle MIDI CC from controller so it stays at value 127 then 0 when pressed again

does the linked documentation file help?

though if what you've got works then yay, nae worries, as, in some instances, cpython is quicker than c++

Re: MOD Devices sponsors Linuxmusicians.com

information asymmetry strikes again! if only the general membership had had an on-going ambient awareness of the level of donations in relation to the level of server costs. sponsorship is essentially advertising (no way around it, regardless of how "good" the company is) and this kind of ...

Re: transition everything to Discourse

Could you share more details about what changed your opinion? (i was on the fence before, i'm 80% for it now.) mostly because falktx posted several months ago in #lad [at least] about their graphing of mailing list and IRC postings whilst stating a concern about these metrics pointing toward an app...

Re: Stereo dictaphone/cheaper digital audio recorder?

I got a bit more money in than expected, and, with my usage plans have embiggened, I think I'll be getting a Zoom H6 + XLR & shotgun capsules. Thanks again for the reflections.

do you have python-xdg installed?

edit: whoopy, ignore that, that's for python3

python2-xdg is for python2

(hmm, neither laditools nor laditools-git has that dependency, but it's possibly such a common module that no-one has noticed so far..?)
