Re: Make "Active Topics" available in "Quick links" for unlogged in users

42low - i called your response to the second quote trollish because it used forms of rhetoric that could be said to match the behaviour of those who are actively trolls. i mindfully did not call you a troll because that wouldn't have helped either you or anyone else. i stopped there because i try to...

Re: Make "Active Topics" available in "Quick links" for unlogged in users

People who don't want to post just won't register. Having a degraded performance for the reason of getting people to register would I think behaviourally be classed as 'positive punishment', and IMO against the nature of open culture. Still, economically, if there's value added of 'Active Topics' be...

Make "Active Topics" available in "Quick links" for unlogged in users

Re: transition everything to Discourse

I think there's a very valid reason for not switching over to Discourse: Ctrl+F . if you press ctrl-f twice, it overrides the in-built find and gives the browser find, works for most sites that hijack ctrl-f. the there's too much whitespace in the default Discourse theme, though I guess that could ...

Re: A wee collection of Audio links etc.

I've added to and sorted the page a fair bit though the order needs more work. Giada is closest to what I'm looking for, but it's MIDI bind system isn't as modular as now seq64 so doesn't scale. Maybe I could write a mididings script with scenes to compensate. seq64 is great for the MIDI side, thoug...

A wee collection of Audio links etc.

Heya folks! I make notes on a personal wiki as I go along researching and using things. I've got an Audio page with mostly Linux and mostly free (unless I think notable) related links and such, and I thought some here might find it interesting. Am I missing something (aside from an open source clip ...
