Re: MOD Devices host and UI for Linux

Awesome. I've added it to the LV2 wiki. Related is the MODEP project.

Re: Dil-Keşîde Fasıl - وصلة دلكشده - (Relaxing Arabic Music for Harp)

I ran it through the 'Mist' (aka Clouds) plugin of lenticular.lv2 (port of clone of a port?) and stuck it on YT.

Re: Program idea: Drag and Drop converter

I can't understand how this relates to my problem?
I realise now, given what Kott said, that you really need to define the problem better so it is not ambiguous :)

Re: LinuxMusic.rocks

Re generating entries, one of the advantages of LV2 is its metadata. There are the plugin classes, the rdfs:comment property as a description of the plugin, info on the in/out ports, etc. See also lv2toweb and lv2rdf2html.

Re: LinuxMusic.rocks

Very nice! Initial off-the-cuff thoughts; The title "database - linux music.rocks" could maybe be clearer. Yes it is a database, but it's like the "all or "front" or whatever page of the db. Maybe the screenshot thumbnails could be a bit taller? And maybe a bit less whitespace around the type? The s...

Re: Music player advise/recommendations needed

I use mpv with autoload, so that clicking on any file in the directory auto creates a playlist, like mpv * but starting from a specific file.

Re: Analogue to Digital and Playback

I would highly recommend using FLAC (lossless) rather than MP3 (lossy) for such an archival job.

If anyone needs to use lossy files (for streaming, putting content on a mobile phone, etc.), Opus would be the recommended format these days.
