Re: LSP Project

i saw your video on youtube after my post. I don't think it will do what I want to do. it makes perfect sense for creating reverbs at will, and is fantastic as such. my intention is to create an IR of a virtual studio (with all the treatment) to create a "room" for my headphones. I guess my whish i...

Re: LSP Project

before I get into the truble of creating a room (or are there any usefull available to download?) for this: does this treat all frequencies as rays? only frequencies above the Schroeder Frequency behave like that. It doesn't simulate frequencies. It simulates the spreading of the front of the wave....

Re: mp3 Listening Quiz

Hmmm. The difference between 128 kbps MP3 and WAV is mostly detectable by amount high frequencies. In Coldplay, there is a lot of cracking sound in WAV. I've selected the least cracking, and it was... 128 kbps WAV. So, actually, it's a bit of taste rather than 'quality feeling'. 1. 320 2. 128 3. 128...

Re: LSP Project

how can I make lsp-plugins-impulse-reverb or lsp-plugins-impulse-responses plugins start with saved settings? I want to make my filters start automaticly with Qjackctrl. I would like to do the same with a compressor Since 1.1.10 release, you may pass --config parameter: lsp-plugins-impulse-reverb-m...

Re: LV2 support in JUCE

Are you still interested in that crap (JUCE)? If they're not interested in support of non-commercial plugin formats, it's their problem. When I've asked how to solve problems with interoperability of GTK and JUCE, nobody helped me from JUCE developers' side. So f**k them off and leave them rest in p...

Re: [ANN] LSP Plugins release 1.1.10 is ready!

Yes, I've been running the quality at 100%. Also when I do it like that in Ardour using three out of my four CPU cores it's a lot faster but when I do it in Carla, after about 10 hours it was at 17% so I stopped it. Is the quality good enough at 50%? The lesser quality yields to the case when more ...

It depends on the 'quality' settings, the number of polygons in the room's mesh and number of CPU cores used for rendering.

Yes, you can render the impulse response of the DIY-room and use it anywhere as a convolution reverb.

[ANN] LSP Plugins release 1.1.10 is ready!

The development of 1.1.10 version took the longest cycle in contrast to previous releases. All the changes were planned since January 2019 but many supplementary problems should be solved first. This release contains a lot of internal plugin framework changes, implementation of new UI widgets and, p...

Good start. Exploring your latest plugins, I wondered why you haven't done it already previously.

Thanks again sadko4u. :D
Please note that this fix is mostly wanted to be applied for all your plugins.
This will dramatically reduce CPU utilization, especially when multiple plugins are used.
