Re: Monogatari 01 (acoustic, folk)

Like this, quirky tune. Some very interesting details in there.

Re: New song - Save Me

How Odd. I thought I'd already commented on this, but don't see it either here or 'there'. Anyway, I really really like this. Good song, clear singing with nice harmonising, and sophisticated appropriate instrumental support :D

Re: What is a "Professional"?

I see this all the time, to the extent that these days I do as much as I possibly can myself - even if it requires learning completely new skills and buying tools I'll only ever use once :( Last year I restored and old fireplace in my lounge that a couple of building firms couldn't be done wit...

Re: I'm glad to be here

This is where it's quite important to try out several options. What is plain as day for one person may be quite incomprehensible for someone else.

Re: Does anyone uses BCR2000?

Not tried it, and it looks somewhat dodgy to me. The EULA states that third party software may be included, but gives no details. So not coming anywhere near my kit.

Re: Does anyone uses BCR2000?

Does it also recognise the BCF2000? I have one of these but don't make as much use of it as I'd like, having to set it up manually - which is somewhat tedious :(

Re: Komplete Audio 6 101

Ah, ok. On the last few millimeters of the gain the volume actually increases dramatically. Apparently NI has combined volume control and preamp into one knob, and the preamp only sets in at the very end. I'm not sure I like this. I don't recognise this situation (I have a MK1) Inputs 1&2 have indi...

Re: Komplete Audio 6 101

When you say 'in Jack' where exactly are you looking.

I use qjackctl which holds your hand quite well. My KA6 shows up without issues in the Setup->Advanced window - looking in the Output Device and Input Device menus.

I think the fact that after two and a half years, this thread isn't 'finished' rather makes the point

Re: measured rtl twice as high as calculated one

I think you'll find that jack reports the one-way latency, while reaper adds both in and out latencies.
