Re: audio PC build: Ryzen 3200G vs. i3-8100/9100

Hmmm. I got one of the earlier 4 core Ryzen 5s, and currently run with 2mS latency. That's with Devuan, Rosegarden and Yoshimi, and occasionally Hydrogen. I don't get any Xruns, even with all 16 channels running and some of my heavy duty multi-layered instrument patches.

Re: Rated Blue "JOY" Album Released!

Oi!
I'm supposed to be doing development work today - looks like it's going to be delayed
Very much like what I've heard so far. The Hammond definitely adds an extra demension (that was a typo - but it fits) to an already first class performance.

Very impressive work. I listened to the entire track, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Re: Build Non-Session-Manager from source (NSM)

I can never really understand the fuss about session managers. I never use them. Every project I work on has a different structure, takes a few minutes to first define, then seconds to later recall for further work. If I'm working with just Yoshimi and Rosegarden, that's a total of four mouse clicks.

Re: Uneducated

This is very nice indeed. Something for quiet reflection at the end of a long and difficult day.

First class take on the current situation. Some really nice singing and playing too - love the Surf section :D
Nice touch with the streaks of film noise and frame jitter.

Re: Back to 1993

Thanks a lot guys.
The bass part is somewhat a bone of contention. There is a fairly solid bass line there but it is relatively subdued, sort of, you'd notice if it was missing. It was much louder on the 1993 version, and I had complaints the it was too overpowering
