Re: [ANN] Musical Artifacts - find presets, configs, sounds

I'm planning to make some tutorials about playing a Quintar (fretless instrument tuned in fifths). Can I use your website to post chord schemes, scales etc, made in Lilypond? Hans Yes, by all means. You can use the description to explain what's in the downloadable file, if you want to host some sou...

Re: Infamous Plugins v0.1

Hey, just tested some of the infamous plugins a little last night and I have some feedback. The tape power up and power cut are really fun to play around with, maybe I'll try and automating the transitions in Ardour and finding some creative uses for this. I was curious to test the Stuck plugin, but...

Re: [ANN] Musical Artifacts - find presets, configs, sounds

I'm working on a new synth "Helm" (tytel.org/helm) and would *love* a way to submit patches from Helm directly to Musical Artifacts and download directly as well. I think it would really push the community patch building to a new level. Is there a good way to do that currently? Right now there's a ...

Re: [ANN] Musical Artifacts - find presets, configs, sounds

We're already on this. See http://sourceforge.net/p/zynaddsubfx/instruments/ci/fdf6cfddf7f72a65dbc2a3104c5312d9d7427fa2/tree/banks/net-wisdom/ That's great, the correction to the volume levels is something that really makes the presets useful. I think I'm going to get rid of all the single instrume...

Re: [ANN] Musical Artifacts - find presets, configs, sounds

Very welcome! How do you manage the hosting? Right now it's hosted in a VPS which costs me aprox. U$20 a month to keep running which I'm happy to pay from my pocket. The network bandwidth and disk space are more than enough to host the site right now, but in the future if the site needs to grow a L...

Hello from Brazil!

Hello everyone, I'm 'lfz' a musician and programmer from Brazil. I'm a long time linux user and "linux musician" but have been mostly lurking the forums, IRC chats and mailing list related to linux audio. [ANN] Musical Artifacts - find presets, configs, sounds

Hey everyone, this is a project I've been working on for some months now and now I think it's ready for some beta testing. https://musical-artifacts.com/ is a place to collect free 'musical artifacts', that is, pre-sets, configuration files, soundfonts, etc. make them searchable and taggable and giv...
