Re: open source musicians podcast 71
Great episode! I'm a HUGE fan of KXStudio and recommend it to everyone. Your work is very appreciated. Thanks for remembering about https://musical-artifacts.com . I'd love to work with the community to host more LV2 presets. Maybe help choose the best ones so that they could be packaged and distrib...

Re: [ANN] Musical Artifacts - find presets, configs, sounds
Guitarix now have a little web-interface to browse and download presets from musical-artifacts. (a side note, therefore it introduce a new dependency to webkit-1.0) I hope guitarix users find it useful! On the last few days I've tweaked the interface a little to make guitarix web window a little ne...

Re: calfjackplugin preset library online?
Hey, I'm the creator of https://musical-artifacts.com and I aim for it to be a place for all these presets. I'm currently together with the first users adding the ones floating around the web. If you want a place to start digging I've made a list of the ones I found but are still not registered on t...

Re: Mellotron
Yeah if you need free hosting space for HTML I'd recommend Github Pages (https://help.github.com/articles/user-organization-and-project-pages/#project-pages) with the added advantage that the files will be available as a git repository for versioning, pull requests, etc.. If you need help feel free ...

These are some nice sounding bass samples and I appreciate the legato mappings. I assume they're based of these http://www.karoryfer.com/karoryfer-samp ... /pastabass ?

Re: [ANN] Musical Artifacts - find presets, configs, sounds
Hey asbak, thanks for contributing and for the feedback. - File upload fails (archive was about 360Mbyte) - At the bottom it originally displayed a "Download from Sendspace link" (it picked the first mirror link) but this collection contains two mirror archives and the link at the bottom o...

Re: [ANN] Musical Artifacts - find presets, configs, sounds
Now the website has a favorite system, the little star icons next to the artifacts which logged in users can click on. An artifact will also have the number of times it was favorite show beside the icon (a la github star system). Also the API calls return this number as 'favorite_count' so developer...

Re: [ANN] Musical Artifacts - find presets, configs, sounds
Here's an update on the API: https://github.com/lfzawacki/musical-artifacts/wiki/API-Documentation More metadata about the artifacts and a way to create/upload files and edit them. Let me know what you think about the API and if the documentation is good enough to experiment with it yourselves. The ...

Re: [ANN] Musical Artifacts - find presets, configs, sounds
Yes, I've put your suggestion on my work pile and I'll probably add a rating system of some sort. A download counter is already active so it's just a matter of time until I add it. Lots of news coming on the api front, I just need some extra tests now before I put it online. A question for you tytel...
