Re: 804AM - A fragment

That is super cool! Wow! Very sitar like things going on there. Thanks, G ! I've got a couple other replies mentioning that it sounds like a sitar in places. Must be my deep Carnatic soul emerging from its pasty Pennsylvanish Deutsch enclosure ... I'm having a lot of fun with Rack and the guitar. I...

Re: 804AM - A fragment

I did not realize you could use VCV Rack as 'guitar effect' :-) It can be used in a variety of ways, including standalone as an effects processor for audio input. I've experimented a little with that aspect before now, but recently I've become more interested in its "live" possibilities. ...

Re: Anyone able to build Algoscore recently?

Greetings !

I once wrote an article about AlgoScore:

Very cool software. IMHO the better option would be to update the Algoscore codebase rather than struggle with outdated dependencies.

Are you being paid for these irrelevant advertisements? Have you read his massive contribution to the Linux DAW forum/thread at KVR ? I'll wager that this guy has tested more varieties of Linux with more configuration details than anyone else I know of. He's devoted enormous amounts of time and ene...

Re: Soledad #3

Thank you, friends, I appreciate that you took the time to listen to and comment on my music.

Seems you all got it right. It is what it is, nothing Earth-shaking here, just an ambience of a certain sort. :)

The binary from github may or may not work on your system, I haven't checked it here. I build it from source on Fedora 23, it works fine.

Re: Are there affordable microphones that last for decades?

My Shure SM58 has been with me for decades, it's still the best mic for my vocals and it's designed for heavy-duty use. The USB mics I've seen and used have been poor contenders by comparison, but I'll be the first to admit that I've not kept up with the technology. Are you using your mic for singin...

Vember Surge update

Greetings ! Just a note to let you know that the horrible noise bug has been squashed. I've had 100% success with Surge in Bitwig 2.3.5 and VCV Rack via the Host module, Surge performs very well on those hosts now. If you've tried the plugin and suffered from that bug, please update to beta8, give i...
