Recommend Me Do: TB-303 emulator

Can someone recommend a TB-303 emulator with the pattern sequencer? Something like this

http://www.errozero.co.uk/acid-machine/

or Rebirth. I know about nekobee and am using it but I'd like the sequencer too.

Re: My Idea of Pattern-Based Arranger

It's not open source, but it sounds like sunvox http://www.warmplace.ru/soft/sunvox/ http://www.warmplace.ru/soft/sunvox/sunvox28.png There is a tracker based interface at the top and the patterns are at the bottom. in the middle are built in modules which you plug together. It has no support at all...

Re: SetBfree - how to always load my cfg file

Hey! I get to be the RTFM guy. From the man page At startup 'default.cfg' and 'default.pgm' in $XDG_CON‐ FIG_HOME/setBfree/ (default: $HOME/.config/setBfree/) are are evaluated if the files exist, unless '--noconfig' or '--nopro‐ gram' options are given. An additional config or program file can be l...

Re: LSP Project

love the idea, but I don't see any public code anywhere. The tarballs here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/lsp-plugins/files/v1.0.0/ only provide binaries. The LICENSE file inside reports the license as GPL v2. As per GPL v2 you must distribute source code if you publish binaries (when requested)...

HTML5 WebMIDI Frontends

This page came up in a recent Sonicstate podcast http://syntedon.com/site/article.php Where the chap is advocating making those fancy graphical front ends for plugins or hardware with HTML5 thus making them immediately cross platform. It seems like an interesting idea and I imagine it could be fun c...

Re: Acidjazz(core)

The first thing the rhythm made me think of is this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgJ0kBhsQRE which is totally different. The only thing I'd like is if you quieted the brass a little at the start and made the piano in the middle section a little louder, otherwise it's fantastic.

Lies and Amnesia

This is being put forward as a candidate for an arcade style game a friend is writing. The brief is "A bit Euphoric"

The criteria is "What can we write the word FREE in it to drive traffic to our site?". Having said that, it is a genuinely well researched article.

Use pulseaudio as a plugin with jack maybe? https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/questi ... nc-module/ I'd imagine it would be frustratingly laggy though.

Not a plugin so you'll have to wire it up the old fashioned way.

Re: Perfomance, Midi and effects

I managed to get Carla kind of running on Fedora, what a monumental faff that was, lots of hard coding of /usr/lib when Fedora wants things in /usr/lib64 and it's pretty crashy at the moment for some reason. Anyway it works.I'll post the rpm later, unfortunately there's no way I'll be able to put it...

Re: Perfomance, Midi and effects

I've not tested Carla as I can't find useful packages for Fedora. (Which I'm using to make my life difficult, it seems) I have found midimsg https://github.com/blablack/midimsg-lv2 which might be helpful if I can figure out how it works. and I've packaged here https://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/ba...
