Hey proto,

it works like a charm ootb with very low latency (at least on my ThinkPad W540) which is essential for recording to a DAW's click.

About the articles points on fattening: * Only add more harmonics via saturation if you didn't already use a valve pre-amp. Hey!

I stumbled over ocenaudio lately and really like its UI. Haven't used it excessively by now but first test were quite promising since I'm using a DAW and need an audio editor for just editing audio (o rly?) and not for applying lots of effects.

Hey Aleks, It steals my menu bars I have a 2880x1660 screen so no need to put windows menus to the most far away position on screen. I hate to play aiming games while at work. I love my privacy Canonical is just another ordinary company trying to make more money. No need for arguing with smart phone...
