I have a 2i2 as well: Nothing to be done on the software side. the card has only a single stereo channel. The 2 physical outputs pairs are controlled by the discrete volumes knobs on the front panel - should be pretty straightforward. So if you have sound in the headphones, but not in the main out, ...

Interesting device ;-) What are your settings when it comes to midi? alsa midi might have trouble handling the volume of messages... Never went that far, but this looks like a whole can of worms between bluez4 that doesn't support new devices and bluez 5 that doesn't support alsa:
