The taskmanager does not list the .dll but you should see something like remote plugin in the task manager. If I use 6 vst , I see the remote plugin 6 times. Killing those works for me, to get rit of the vst. On opensue the task manager has a filter option, so I type rem there and the result you see...

I have an answer from the openSUSE, Carla package builder. He does not have enough time any more to do it. He did not know you can also load win vst into Carla. I think he means that after a problem with LMMS, the vst keep running even if lmms is gone.
When this happens, you see in the taskbar all the vst still running.

I solve this by killing the remote plugins in the task manager.

There I can kill remote plugins ( after a crash or freeze of LMMS )
