for what its worth just to confirm. I had troubles with dd and kxstudio 14.0b and ran isohybrid kxstudio.iso and then dd if=kxstudio.iso of=/dev/sdb and everything worked great. thanks for helping out with some of the more technical stuff we musicians tend to overlook or take for granted.
