Hey, I installed Cadence and Carla from source on Gentoo Linux, and Carla isn't appearing in the Claudia launcher. Are they supposed to autodetect each other? Is there a way I can manually add it?

Was there something in particular you were looking for?

As in, what I need kxstudio for? I usually use cadence to configure jack, carla as a vst host, and claudia to work with ladish.

Where are these ebuilds you speak of?

I can't seem to find it in the proaudio overlay and I can't seem to find much on the topic. Are there plans to add it?

I can't live without my kxstudio ;_;

It turns out I was able to accomplish the same thing by enabling loopback mixing in alsamixer.
