notebook audio interface ALC892 vs. Boss RC-300
Hey Guys, I want to record some instruments with my notebook. Now I'm thinking about to record it with my extern audio interface RC-300 (44,1KHz, 16 Bits) or with my intern soundcard ALC892. I think the intern soundcard spec is better than of the RC-300?? What do you think? Here are the manuals/data...

Hi, thanks for your help. Actually I don't think that the Jack configuration is the problem. I read something about a missing entry @ quirks-table.h but I don't think that this is my problem. How does this look for volti (~/.config/volti/config -file)?

How can I control volume on Linux mint with kxstudio?
Hi, i installed kxstudio on Linux Mint 17 cinnamon and trying my first steps as a "LinuxMusician".Now I have the problem, that i can't control volume with my Notebook shortcut. Is there any programm which gives me the control of the volume of my notebook speakers/headphone back? Thanks a lot
