Re: carla-bridge-wine32:i386 broken with wine 5.0

Re: cadence and pulseaudio not working well

Re: drums in syntesized midi

2 tricks going on. Compression on the kick drum. Side Chain compression (actually its called volume ducking but nobody says that) virtually all instruments from the kick. So whatever is playing the kick drum cuts through. I'm not that familiar with mixing in rosegarden so I can't really help you set...

Re: Virtual Midi Port/Cable

you seem to have some client that managed to auto(magically)started jackd ... and it also seems that it's still up and running... otherwise that "jackd -T .." would be long gone... anyway... try this: 1. killall -9 jackd 2. run qjackctl, go to Setup > Misc: turn off "Save JACK audio server configur...

Re: Virtual Midi Port/Cable

... I don't have this. Is there a way to add it or would it require me to install a different kernel? For the record : I'm on Ubuntu 19.10 with kxstudio repos added. I've also installed the kxstudio-default-settings package which adds the snd-seq-dummy.conf file But you can do this all manually Fir...

Re: lets talk about apple mac

Linux is Linux and not competing with anything. If Mac / Windows works better for you, use that. We owned a Mac and after a failure of the graphics card I could throw it away. Obsolete they said. Wtf it was working fine, just plugin a new gfx card. Nope... No more macs for me, thank you. Only buy a ...

Re: What sampler plugin do you use?

- Few samples to be played in various notes: sampl_v1 - Few samples with fixed pitch: drumk_v1 pardon me, but the correct and official spelling is samplv1 and drumkv1 resp. half of the vee-one-suite . ps. do not ever confuse the "v1" suffix with "version-one" ;) The number of times I've typed sampl...

https://lsp-plug.in/?page=manuals§ion=multisampler_x12_do Does take some setting up with loading samples, very powerful plugin though This plugin implements 12-instrument MIDI sample player with stereo input and stereo output. For each instrument there are up to eight samples available to play f...
