Re: An Infamous Announcement!
By the way, I think I remember now why the concept seemed familiar. When I used to use Xubuntu there was a screensaver that basically did similar things but visually, I think there were settings for how long the cells take to die or regenerate.

Re: calf eq
Isn't there a modifier key (shift, alt, control) that allows it to go finer? I'm not at my machine at the moment but I seem to remember one of the keys doing that.

Re: An Infamous Announcement!
ssj71 I had another play with Hip2B and I see what you mean now, it's working as (I think) expected.
Will check that video later just to make sure though.

Re: More NSM support
I see what you mean about Hydrogen, I forgot about that.
You will have to ask falktx about that, I definitely have seen him recommend NSM over Claudia before, because Ladish isn't being actively developed anymore or something? I don't remember.

Re: More NSM support
What does Claudia do that NSM doesn't? You can save your Jack connections in NSM. I believe falkTX himself advises to use NSM for session management now.
I don't know about Guitarix but Hydrogen is definitely supported in NSM.

Re: An Infamous Announcement!
That was a good idea, I deleted the whole folder and built them again and everything seems to have worked this time. The synth seems very interesting, I still have no idea what is going on but I will have to read up to understand it a bit more. Certainly makes some lovely sounds sounds though. I man...

Re: An Infamous Announcement!
Ok, that enabled me to build them but I'm not having much luck with them. Ardour doesn't seem to recognise them so I tried copying the folders from /usr/local/lib64/lv2 to /usr/lib/lv2 and then it sees the envfollower but it crashes Ardour when trying to load it. The Hip2b doesn't show up in Ardour....

Re: An Infamous Announcement!
I have qt4 package installed (qt4-4.8.5-7). At least I think it is qmake that's the issue: ./install.sh: line 4: qmake: command not found make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop. make: *** No rule to make target 'install'. Stop. ./install.sh: line 13: qmake: command not found make...

Re: An Infamous Announcement!
I'm having a problem finding qmake. I use an Arch based system and I can't find a package that contains it?

Re: An Infamous Announcement!
Ok cool, well it's certainly an original idea anyway! I'm currently waiting for a bug to be fixed in Ardour that causes crashes with midi instruments before I can do any serious work (or maybe I'll go back to qtractor for writing) but I will certainly try it out and let you know what I think. Thank ...

These look very interesting. Is the synth based on another? The concept sounds really familiar but I can't think why. Looking forward to trying them.

Re: Which is better, Klangfalter or IR: LV2?
Ah finally I have it working
It's really nice, I've had some issues with IR in the past so I will try to use KlangFalter now, it certainly has a better browser than IR.
