Re: OpenSource non-linux plugins out there?

That looks like a sexy synth, can't wait to try it out. Thanks in advance!

Re: Delay when sending midi to a jack device from host

So it is normal and to be expected then? What you're saying makes sense but it's strange that so many people I ask about it say this doesn't happen to them. I will forget about it and work around then in that case, thank you.

Re: Delay when sending midi to a jack device from host

Is there anyone that can help me diagnose this somehow?

I have tried uninstalling cadence and jack2dbus and installing qjackctl and jack2. The first time I ran this with the default settings the delay disappeared. Then I rebooted and the delay is back.

Re: [ANN}Nootka 1.0.0

I'm guessing something is supposed to happen after the wizard? I press finish or skip and nothing happens at all.

Re: Need help with midi

Ok, well that's encouraging then, glad to know I don't have something broken. I will give them all another try with using different channels and see how that goes, thanks for the advice.

Need help with midi

I'm pretty sure something isn't right with my midi setup. I've been trying a few different midi sequencers and most of them have the same issue, they only list Midi Through Port 0 as an output. This happens in Aria Maestro, Seq42, HarmonySEQ, Rosegarden, Muse2. In Muse2 I can create a Jack Device bu...

Seq42

Any one use this? It appears not not to be actively developed anymore but it looks quite impressive all the same.
I looks like it combines the nice live mode that HarmonySEQ has but with a better sequencer and note editor.

Re: Ardour GUI Tools went bye bye HELP

If you're on an Arch based distro then pacman -Rns will remove all the program and configs and unneeded dependencies. If you're not then I don't know. You shouldn't need to reinstall, just try removing the stuff in ~/.config and restart Ardour. edit: or just get on the irc and ask there, you'll get ...

Re: Ardour GUI Tools went bye bye HELP

Try deleting (or moving somewhere else to backup) the ardour folder in ~/.config. I don't know if Ardour will work if you remove all the files here but one of them must contain the settings you have set up.

Re: An Infamous Announcement!

Yep, similar concept (and you can set the cell "lifetime" in the synth). I tried to make a video tutorial, but it was 20 minutes and lost video and audio sync, so I'm going to try again later. Thanks too for catching that problem in Hip2B. I'll update the files as soon as I can, but its t...
