Re: Neural Amp Modeler LV2 GUI
On request I made a little GUI for the Neural Amp Modeler LV2 plugin by Mike Oliphant. https://github.com/mikeoliphant/neural-amp-modeler-lv2 Do you need technical skills to make a GUi? I am not too technical but would love to help to make GUI for the ace plugins of Ardour, but I haven't got a clue...

Re: CALF plugins?
The real problem here is software (or development stuff, I don't know what to call it) that is not backwards compatible. Companies that do that should be banned from distributing their ever again! You shot a bit over the top. Checkout what we all get from GTK: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_...

Re: guitarix2-0.46.0 released
Some folks mentioned they have created 'Maximum Accuracy' NAM files, for the Marshal 'brown' sound. Ups, that is really heavy. (To heavy for my box). I found something more the opposite of that here: https://forum.mod.audio/t/nam-models-re-captured-for-aida-x/10939/1 He re-capture some NAM models a...

Re: Guitarix.vst v0.3 Release
Which DAW do you use?
Do you man vst presets in the DAW or gx presets in Guitarix?
btw. I've no issues here with both in Ardour.

Re: Ardour 8.4 maintains its GUI toolkit in its source tree
Using existing toolkits is faster but less customizable That's not really true. Ardour, for example, using nearly only customized GTK widgets ( means own developed widgets), and so does Guitarix (Gtkmm). The more work to create a widget toolkit is behind the scene. So, handling list-views, menus, c...

Re: Guitarix.vst v0.3 Release
The RTNeural dual mode works fine, and with two aida-x amps, cpu is still much lower in than a single .nam amp in the Neural section  8) Yep, it's surprisingly low in CPU usage while the sound quality is comparable. I guess you running the binary from the project side which isn't fully optim...

Re: Guitarix.vst v0.3 Release
Do I need the current Guitarix installed to use the vst? No. My distro has an older version in the repos but if I don't need it I'll uninstall the older version. You could keep it if you like. The vst version could load your old presets without problems. The old guitarix version could as well load ...

Re: guitarix2-0.45.0 released
it's me again, with packaging issues, tarballs are bit messed since 0.45.0 Yes, sorry for that. As we now need to add submodules to the tarball I've rewritten the dist function to create the tarball. During that the root folder get lost. I've corrected that already in the source. Next release will ...

Re: guitarix2-0.45.0 released
I've done some more work for the neural modules. Guitarix now supports two modules for NAM and RTNeural each. That to allow the load of separate pre and power amp models. On top I implemented a RTNeural Multi plug, that allow the load of two models into on plug and then blend between them. So it is ...
