I'm using KXStudio 12.04. It seems to me that some packages (not audio-linked), in my case Texlive and Texmaker stuff, are quite old (2009?). Is there a way, to add more recent versions of this?

Hi Falk, thank you for your reply. It's strange. This morning, without any changing everything works fine. I'll have a look at the problem after running the system some time. I dont know how it happens... The problem wasn't only audio playback but the whole Video wouldn't play, it just stayed at 0:0...
