Per Instrument swapping
I've had a look at the roadmap for DrumGizmo, and while I see a few references to per instrument features such as volume control, I don't see what I'm looking for: the ability to swap out single instruments for other ones. For example, let's say I loved my drum kit the way it was, but this particula...

Re: Getting open hats to close
Yo! That's awesome! Thanks!
I've been using samples from drumwerks.com. Turns out they make great kits with DrumGizmo!

Getting open hats to close
So, I've figured out my previous problem, yay!
Now I'm trying to figure out how to get my open hi hat sample to quit playing once a closed sample is played?

Re: DGEdit test kit not working the way I expect
I crashed around in a newly compiled version, then watched the video. I've done everything almost exactly the same, except that I'm working with samples that do not have bleed from any other microphones.

DGEdit test kit not working the way I expect
So, the DGEdit tool is sweet. However, I'm discovering that, upon working on a super simple kick/snare kit, with no bleed mics, I can only get the kick to come out of the left side, and snare comes out of the right. I figure I must be doing something wrong? Any information you need I'll provide, tha...

Re: drum replacement
Yeah, I figured that out after I posted last night. This is actually a fantastic piece of software that we should consider getting behind and getting included in KXstudio. To have an LV2 version for single channel operability would be stellar. Or even just an LV2 version that loads in a multi out MI...

No mid side compressors?
Up until now, I've not found any free mid side compressors under Linux. Anyone know something I don't?

Re: MAudio 2496 and new motherboard
I'll also clarify that this is an issue only with this card. My FireWire and built in sound cards work fine. I've tried all the different PCI slots, verified there are no irq conflicts, and tested different distributions. I've used htop to no effect. No evidence of any possible suspects causing issu...

MAudio 2496 and new motherboard
I've had an issue that has become quite annoying. No amount of IRQ research or tweaking has been able to solve my issue. I got a new computer, popped my trusty maudio 2496 soundcard in there, and jack launches fine. However, there is a rather consistent xrun that happens about every 5-10 seconds. Th...

Re: Looping
Thanks. All my work with SFZs has always been with drums, so it's always been loop_mode=one_shot. Specifically what I was looking for was how to use the loop_start and loop_end opcodes...but I've got that figured out as well. As it turns out, the sounds on this keyboard lend themselves perfectly to ...

Re: Looping
I understand that aspect of it. I'm not asking how to make a perfect sound. All I want to know is how to make it happen in the sfz file.
