Re: (Request) Peak controller for Ardour

It is not just an envelope follower, but an envelope follower with base level, positive and negative amount, attack, and release. It is basically a simplified control section of a compressor, only instead of the envelope signal being used to reduce the level of its input, it can be routed anywhere.

New track: Smoking Kills

This is my new acid techno track made with Korg DS-10, made for a fight scene of a friend's video. The church bell was then added in Audacity.

Re: Help with a Roland JV-880

Thank you! That's very helpful. Just FM synthesis. Huh.

Welcome to our forum! You know, the cello is one of my favorite instruments. Second only to the piano.

Help with a Roland JV-880

Does anybody know what the FXM (frequency cross-modulation) parameter does? The synth engine only has one oscillator!

Re: 'Karma (music theory) Police'...

Classical rules were also quite important, if not limiting to composers. There is a possibility that the rules came by because of the tuning of their instruments. Many instruments sounded best in one key, okay in another, and howled in another. The rules made it slightly safer for the composer in a ...

Anyone want to collaborate on a house/electro remix?

I found this great-sounding song on Soundcloud: (https://soundcloud.com/frankk-project-m ... love-music) that is available for remixing. Would anyone like to help me remix the song? I'd like to make it dubstep/French house.

Re: new work done with LMMS

I like the interesting chords. The only thing I would do is add some reverb/delay to take away that slight MIDI sound. I loved the train in the beginning, though.

Re: NEW TRACK - The internet, and its viruses.

Hey ! I like the concept of this track 8) Also I think you can make it even better (it is just my opinion and one may think just the opposite and that is fine) : - the fade-in seems a little be to long to me - there should be no drums (or much quieter drums) before 0:47 - the transition with the mo...
