Jack is fairly well known... at least on the Mac. JackOsX has been available for quite some time. (I just checked MacUpdate and it has been downloaded over 24,000 times and that is just one site). In my opinion it simply doesn't get the promotional noise that people make around their commercial apps...

I am relatively new to the Linux ecosystem. I have a lot to learn.
I am inspired to learn and to contribute in some capacity.
