Mixx question (may have missed this in the manual...)
Dumb newbie question regarding Mixx: is there any way to get it to recognize the BPM of a piece that is in 3/4? What about compound time sigs such as 6/8? It's reading compound time as slow 2/4s which is not really what I need. I did *skim* the manual but freely admit I may have missed this! Thanks ...

Re: Hi all
Greetings fellow noob! If the ISO verifies OK and it still won't install, try dropping down one version from the current distro. My ISO was fine, turned out the current Ubuntu Studio distro simply didn't like my hardware. But Precise Pangolin worked right out of the box.

Re: Anything like Finale's speedy note entry?
Hi, I'm new to the forum and to Linux and like you, coming off of Finale. MuseScore will do what you need and plenty more besides. Since you've used Finale you will find it very intuitive. For me, MuseScore was the main attraction of Linux - I am but a poor classical composer, and much though I love...
