Re: (Solved) Debian Jessie KXStudio repositories .low-latency-kernel?
That's fantastic news, Glenn. Big thanks to you and Trulan Martin for your generosity. Who cares about release schedules. For a reliable production/professional system If a kernel runs flawlesly and smooth better stick to it until you find something better (or getting brand new hardware needing supp...

Re: Any way to convert ncw to wav in Linux?
Hmm.. . I don't have Windows anymore and not full Kontakt licence. Just the licence for the drums that I run in Kontakt free back then. I guess these good babies have gone. Time to get rid off this 1 GB+ iso for once.
Thanks for the answer.
Thanks for the answer.

Any way to convert ncw to wav in Linux?
I guess not, but I have to ask. I stopped using Kontakt eons ago, but I still keep the Abbey_Road_60s_Drummer_100.iso around. I'd love to be able to use those good samples again if possible.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: [INFORMATIONS] Reaper wineasio kontakt
Thanks for the info. I haven't used Kontakt in ages, but that's great info to have in the stash just in case. Reaper 5 is finally way more Linux friendly than the former 3 and 4 versions. It works noticeably smoother without crashes or hickups. The 64-bit version thanfully works on wine now. Some sa...

Re: (Solved) Debian Jessie KXStudio repositories .low-latency-kernel?
Yup, the liquorix kernels from antix run all smooth on my hardware. Wanna try the brand new AVL kernel whatsoever.

Re: KXStudio repos signature keys - weak digest
Seems so. The issues disappeared on their own before trying anything... or maybe not. But I've stopped having these warnings in all my Debian systems with the antix or KXS repos enabled.

Re: What's the future of the KXS tools
I don't think Cadence can call a NSM session (yet?). Only ladish sessions. But I think you can add the both Cadence and an NSM session to you autostart. Or calling both from a script. Been playing with NON lately. It really powerful, but I think I still prefer a compete self-contained DAW. Anyway, i...

Re: What's the future of the KXS tools
Understood. So the Carla patchbay is actually Claudia. Will be patching replacement of any kind or Claudia will keep going while ladish lasts? I've been playing with Cadence, non-session-manager and patchage yesterday trying to figure out how a non-ladish environment would be. I have no idea how to ...

What's the future of the KXS tools
claudia is sorta deprecated now, ladish being almost dead and all... So, what are the plans or the foreseeable future for the KXS specific tools? I mean Cadence, Claudia and Carla mainly. They are using ladish in the back end, or in the case of Cadence it includes the ladish front-end in the tools ...

Re: How to add applications to Claudia?
Ok. Thanks for the info. claudia is sorta deprecated now, ladish being almost dead and all... That's sad news. I love Claudia and use it daily. Too bad ladish is going down south. Have you tried Non-Session-Manager yet? Only occasionally. So time for a switch. Curiously I was thinking about getting ...
